How it works

From your request to a concrete result

Say what you want to achieve or what has happened. UnifyGen gathers the necessary context and prepares the next step. Technical controls adapt to your request.

1. Say what you need

Describe the request, place and, if relevant, time by voice or text. For example: ‘I want the holiday home at 22 degrees by six on Friday.’ Use the same way of communicating on supported phones and computers.

2. UnifyGen checks what is possible

It identifies the property or task involved and checks available functions and your permissions. If the request is unclear, it asks a short follow-up question.

3. It prepares and takes the next step

Within its permitted scope, it suggests an approach, asks for confirmation or carries out an assigned action. It can act immediately, schedule it for a specified time or pass it to the person responsible.

4. It tells you the outcome

UnifyGen distinguishes sending a command from achieving a result. It verifies the result using available data or your confirmation. If the goal cannot be achieved or verified, it tells you and suggests what to do next.

In practice: a light is not working

Illustrative example with a fictional character.

  1. Alex

My kitchen light is not working.

  2. UnifyGen

The system shows the light is off. Shall I turn it on?

  3. Alex

    Yes.

  4. UnifyGen

I have sent the command to turn it on. Is it working now?

  5. Alex

    It is still not working.

  6. UnifyGen

The problem has not been resolved. May I inform your service partner?

The report is sent to the service partner only with Alex’s consent. Further technical diagnosis is handled by the service partner.

Works with your connected systems

The scope of control depends on the integration in place. Routine local control and safety functions remain the responsibility of the respective control systems.
