Permissions

Everyone has their own permissions

The same person may be a home user, an association member and a manager at work. For each request, UnifyGen applies their rights in the relevant property or organisation.

Access to the right information

See the data and reports you are authorised to access. Members follow their own reports, assignees work on assigned tasks and managers oversee their areas. The information visible to you reflects your role.

Permission for a specific action

Viewing information and changing a state are separate permissions. Before controlling a system, assigning a task or changing a deadline, UnifyGen checks that you have the right to do so.

A clear target for each request

A request refers to a specific property, space or task. If you have a living room at home and at your holiday property and the target is unclear, UnifyGen asks. Permissions stay separate for each environment.

In practice: a member and an assignee

Illustrative example with a fictional character.

  1. Alex — member

The gate is damaged. I’m sending a photo.

  2. UnifyGen

I’ve added the photo to your report.

The manager assigns the repair to an authorised person. They update progress and record the result. Alex follows his report; people with the relevant rights decide on the deadline and responsibility.

Consent remains specific

Sending a service request requires the customer’s consent. Linking several reports to one event preserves the configured data visibility. The same rights apply on phones and computers, using voice or text.
